Roxanna L. Weese, age 76, of Grand Rapids, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 10, 2026. She enjoyed music, trips with her family to casinos, concerts and karaoke. But most of all, she lived to spend time with her family. She is preceded in death by her husband, Daniel; parents and many siblings.
She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters: Danielle and Steven Dart, Ericka Weese; grandchildren: Ashlee Mullins, Randy Mullins, Jaêkwon Middleton, Mikalia Mullins, Jikalee Middleton, Jordan Middleton; foster grandchildren: Larry Bainbridge, Lindsey (William) Wilson, Casey Scobey; great grandchildren: Faith, Lynnahya, Royce, Jeremiah, My’Lani, A’Vyanna, Zakiyah, Legacy, LeiAni, La’Reontae, Kaiden, Messiah, Kairo; foster great grandchildren: Onna, Christian, Carter; siblings: Norm (Cheri), Jerry (Gail), Bonnie (Tom), Denny (Ivy), Larry, Deb; sisters-in-law: Elaine, Ellen and Ellen along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Celebration of Roxanna’s life will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, March 20, 2026 at Simple Traditions Funeral Home, 3131 Division Ave S, Wyoming. Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday from 1-2 p.m. at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the needs of the family.
To a woman who always put others first over her own needs. You surely were a blessing to all of us who had the pleasure of knowing you, from your sailor language (lol) to your kind heart. And now you are finally at peace with other loved ones. It was my pleasure to know you. Rest in peace.
