Thomas Christian Haan, age 83, went to be with his Lord on Thursday, October 15, 2026. Tom will be remembered as a hardworking man who deeply loved his family and cherished his relationship with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
He believed in the value of hard work, the importance of family, and the blessings of faith. He found joy in spending time with his loved ones and enjoying one of his favorite pastimes, golf. His love for his family and his faith were important parts of who he was and the legacy he leaves behind.
Tom is survived by his children, Shawn (Shawn) Lenger, Jennifer (Haan) Breen, and Nicole Haan, and his beloved grandchildren, Brendon, Delaney, and Lily. He was preceded in death by his parents, Christian and Jennette Haan; step-mother, Annette Schuitema; his brother, Vern Haan; his sister, June (Haan) Germeraad and brother-in-law, Dan Germeraad.
Tom’s memory will live on through the family he loved, the memories he created, and the faith that guided his life. Though he will be deeply missed, those who loved him can find comfort in knowing that his faith in Jesus Christ was always close to his heart.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Sunday, November 8 at 2:30 pm at Little Farms Chapel, 2518 Arthur St E Coopersville, MI 49404.
