Shirley Ann Warner passed peacefully on Monday, March 9, 2026. She was a huge Tigers fan, possibly the #1 fan. She enjoyed watching game shows with her daughter and going to casinos. If she teased you, you would know you were loved by Shirley. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She found joy in doing things for others and giving what she could to meet their needs. She had a gentle yet spunky soul and loved the simple pleasures of life.
Shirley was preceded in death by her loving husband, Kenneth; daughters, Julie Warner Slagh, Natalie Warner Maczinski; daughter-in-law, Kristi Grit Warner; parents, Albert and Margaret Homrich; 7 brothers and sisters and their spouses.
She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Rhonda and Rick Mayhew, Mary Jo (Chris Stein) Warner, Roger Warner, Mitchell and Jill Warner, David and Pam Warner, Sandra Warner, Sharon Warner; sons-in-law, Jerry Slagh, Tim Maczinski; 17 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Emmanuel Hospice for the loving and caring support they provided to our mother and our family. According to her wishes, cremation has taken place. Burial will be held at Elmwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Emmanuel Hospice.

Shirley was a great great mother in law. Quick sense of humor, loved her kids, and made me feel like part of the family even before Julie and I were married. She will be missed.. God bless the family and prayers for each during this time.
