Sandra Kay (Howk) Lasley, age 68, of Wyoming, passed peacefully into the arms of her Heavenly Father on Thursday, January 1, 2026. She will be lovingly remembered by Robert, her husband of 26 years; sons, Carl (Bridget) Skinner, Jr., Christopher Skinner; grandchildren, Victoria Skinner, Kyra Skinner, Dylan Skinner, Charlie Skinner; sisters, Debbie (Don) Brown, Cheri (Ron) Heilman; dearly loved and cherished fur baby, Purrnelope; brothers-in-laws and sisters-in-laws, nieces, nephews, other dear family, and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her loving father and mother, Charles and Joyce (Bruett) Howk; first husband, Carl Skinner, Sr.; grandmother, Violet Wasco. Sandra was a lifelong resident of the Wyoming and Grand Rapids area. She will be remembered by her children as a constant source of strength, love, and support. Caring and selfless by nature, Sandra was always there for anyone in need. She cherished time spent with family and friends, especially her dear grandchildren. Sandra enjoyed the outdoors, including camping, fishing, and canoeing, and was even known to enjoy an occasional roller coaster ride. In her later years, her favorite pastime was relaxing at home while watching her favorite classic television shows, such as Hazel and Bewitched. Per Sandra’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in memory of Sandra. A Celebration of Life will be held in the spring.
