Roger Bernard Weaver, age 90, of Wyoming, passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, surrounded by all six of his children. He was a charter member of St. John Vianney Parish. He witnessed many sacraments at SJV for his family and was very generous with his charities. Roger was the definition of a true outdoorsman who loved his hunting and fishing. He passed this passion on to his children and grandchildren. Some of his favorite things were a good game of poker, Brandy Manhattans, Westerns, and summers spent at Lincoln Lake. Throughout his life he always had a dog by his side. Roger worked alongside his wife, Diana, taking great pride in maintaining their yard and home. He was proud of his 40 years of employment at General Motors as a Tool and Die Maker. He enjoyed sitting on his deck, feeding the squirrels and birds. Roger was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Diana. He is survived by his children: Steve (Brenda), Mike (Irene), Cathy (Jeff) Smith, John (Gigi), David, Jenny (Pete) Lombardo; grandchildren: Sarah (Paul), Katie, Nick (Jenna), Rebecca (Chase), Matt (Jess), Emily (fiancé, Joshua), Andy, Amanda (Jacob), Patrick (Ericka), Joshua, Peter (fiancée, Hana), Maddie, Michael; great grandchildren: Jett, Delilah, twins Brooks and Easton, Brynley, Charlotte and Amelia; many nieces and nephews. The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to Jess and Rachel of Hospice of Holland Home for their loving care of Roger and supporting the family during this difficult time. According to his wishes, cremation has taken place and a private service will be held at a later date.
