Matthew Young was born to loving parents, Eric and Joan on September 22nd, 1991. Matt passed on October 29th, 2026 due to an unforeseen medical emergency.
Matt was a dedicated husband, son, father, and friend. He loved disc golf, horror movies, and spending time with those he loved. He leaves behind a legacy full of dark humor, dad jokes, and unconditional love. All of his friends and family will tell you that Matt was always the first to lend a hand or ear but also the first to give a hard time.
Matt enjoyed his work with Zeeland Lumber where he was a truss designer. He was with the company for 12 years and met so many great colleagues that became friends.
Matt loved nothing more than spending time with his wife, Debbie and his children, Anna, Jason, and Tori. He was a dedicated father that spent most of his free time just soaking in time with his family.
Matt is survived by many loving family members including: his wife Debbie; his three children Anna, Jason, and Victoria; his parents, Eric and Joan; his siblings, Ryan, Kaylee, Breanna, and Morgan; grandparents, Shirley and Keith; his cousins, Alex, Samantha, Katelyn, Chris, and Nate; Aunt Jean, Uncle Keith and many more. Matthew also had 7 nieces and nephews that he loved so much. Matthew is also survived by his mother-in-law, Rabecca and father-in-law, Gary.
He will be truly missed by all his family and friends.
Matt was a spot of sunshine in this world and he will be deeply missed.
