Mary Lou Stark, age 77, of Allegan County, passed away on Valentines Day, February 14, 2026. She enjoyed gardening, farming, riding on motorcycles, collecting antiques, thrifting, and canning. She loved animals and rescued animals during her life, raising anything from horses and cows to dogs and cats. She worked many years as a waitress at Stan’s Tavern, Dockerty’s, Grand Villa/Dungeon, and several other places. She was also dedicated to the Lord and Savior. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family. She will be lovingly remembered by her children: Keith and Ella Phillips, Angelique and Jeff Berridge; grandchildren: Kai Phillips, Karrie (Derek) Ice, Jordan Stark, Vittorio Lange, Savannah (David) Sayles, Patrick Bence, Elliot Bence, Mandy Valez; great grandchildren: Jackson, Maia, Kadyn, Damien, Vincent, and Edward; brothers and sisters: Bonnie Kaanaana, Lynn (Merle) Houyouse; many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her daughter, DuWanna Phillips; son, Boe Stark; parents, Beatrice Turner, Carl Korf; brother, David Korf. According to her wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
