Judith was known to those around her as a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She cherished spending time with family and friends and was devoted to her faith, faithfully serving her church community. She was a devoted fan of the Detroit Tigers and loved watching her younger family members play sports. Judith was also an important part of the veteran community in Battle Creek, volunteering her time with the American Legion.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Grace and Albert Gremore, and her husband, Robert Phelps.
Judith will be lovingly remembered by her daughters and sons-in-law, Julie and Terry Lynn and Andrea and Michael McDonald; her four grandsons; one granddaughter; one great-granddaughter; and many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at Chapel Hill United Methodist Church. The date and time will be announced at a later time.
