Bud “Drew” Andrew Tyler Jr., of Sparta, Michigan, joined his family on September 27, 1975 and passed away peacefully on June 25, 2026, surrounded by loved ones.
Drew was a jack-of-all-trades. Among the numerous hobbies he had, some of his favorite activities were fishing-whenever & wherever, drawing, tattooing, and cooking delicious meals. Most of all, he loved being a father and protector to his children.
He will be remembered as a courageous man who preferred to live life on his own terms. He had a generous heart and the ability to make anyone laugh and smile.
Drew is survived by his children, Tre' (Krystal), Tiara (Derek), Andrew (Heather), Douglas (Marley), Reese and Haidi; his partner, Nicole Champman; his grandchildren, Laney, Raevyn, Braxton, Ian, Lyle and Ranger; his parents, Millie (Bill) Vandam; his siblings, Ronny (Brandi) Tyler, Brad Timmers, and Alicia (Davonte) Wilmoth; and many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
There will be a Celebration of Life for Drew on July 18, 2026, from 1:00 p.m.-4 :00 p.m. at Long Lake Park-picnic area D2 in Sparta, Michigan.
Our deepest sympathies for all his family and friends. May the good Lord wrap his arms around you Drew. Love, Carol & Bill

To my first born son 50 years isn’t long enough. i will miss you so much my heart aches everyday I don’t get your text or phone calls. I know you are at peace and no more pain and suffering but it doesn’t make it any easier. I promise to keep an eye on your children and grandchildren. Until we meet again may you rest in peace. We will continue with you fish stories. We will go every chance we get. Im at a loss for words because my heart has a big hole in it that will never be filled. I miss you already. You were my almost birthday buddy. You just had to wait one more day. Just like you to do your own thing. I miss your voice, smile, and mostly your hugs. I know I will see you again and that you are resting in the loving arms of our Lord Jesus. I love you so much my sweet Nephew.

I Love you Drew. Can’t even begin to express my sadness over your passing. We shared sooooooo much growing up. You were like a little brother to me as we often lived together. We talked for hours about everything as kids and young adults. Shared many laughs and tears together. You were ALWAYS there and NEVER had a bad word to say against anyone. You will be EXTREMELY MISSED.

So many memories. Where do I begin to the time I was sneaking out and you and Ron had to come find me in the middle of the night to the time I lived with you and you used to make me White Russians after school , to the time you worked with me at Subway and I only had a few dollars on me and we ended up going to the bar and we had so much fun after work. I almost got on the highway the wrong way but we made it home safe! To the time I brought Kendal home and you said you just wanted one more baby cuz she was so adorable I’m going to miss you so freaking much. I love you bro until see each other again. I bet you and my grandma are partying it up right now!
